The Atlas Copco ZT 45 and ZT 45 VSD+ compressors are engineered to deliver continuous, oil-free compressed air with high operational precision. The VSD+ variant further enhances flexibility by adjusting motor speed in direct response to air-demand fluctuations, which helps reduce energy consumption in partial-load conditions.
Central to the performance of the ZT 45 series is the advanced Elektronikon monitoring and control system. This controller manages key operating parameters and ensures that the compressor operates within optimal ranges. It monitors elements such as temperature, load profile, and pressure, supporting preventive maintenance and improving long-term operational reliability.
The compressors utilize an oil-free tooth element designed and manufactured in-house for maximum efficiency. A durable rotor coating and unique sealing design contribute to extended operational life and stable air delivery. The motor, an IP66-rated permanent-magnet system, offers high electrical efficiency and robust protection against dust and environmental contaminants.
Supporting components include the NEOS Next frequency converter, which provides stable and efficient speed regulation. With IP54 protection, this converter is suitable for challenging industrial environments and can operate effectively in ambient conditions up to 50°C. The VSD-controlled cooling system ensures appropriate thermal management, optimizing airflow at low speeds.
The compact structure and plug-and-play capabilities provide ease of installation, with optional integrated dryers available for moisture-sensitive applications. With a free-air-delivery capacity reaching up to 8.15 m³/min at minimum pressure, the ZT 45 and ZT 45 VSD+ deliver dependable performance tailored to modern industrial needs.
